Visit to the Park

We visited the park for the children to see what is a juggle-gym....a word that came across during their reading session.

After, pointing out what is a juggle-gym to the children, I can read from their faces this statement "Ok, now that I know what is juggle-gym, why not let us play in the park for a while." Well..ok..I made that up.

Where do snails live?

We saw this snail in the drain.

Shawn asked "Snails live in water too?"

This is the "Ah! ha!" moment that children discover things on their own.

Building Dinosaur Cave

After flipping through the books with the die-cut shape of dinosaurs; the children decided to arrange the books straight up. Then they started peeping through holes in between the books arrangement.

"What are you doing?" asked teacher. "Shh...! there are dinosaurs inside." replied Yvonne.











Teacher brought out the toy dinosaurs for them. The children decided to make the cave bigger and started arranging the dinosaurs inside.

Final touch; cover more books on top. Viola, the cave is done! They started peeping the dinosaurs through the holes in between the books.
